Well I can say thank god i am not in hospital lol!

My GP says i have tieze's syndrome...took me a while to find out what it was exactly because i was spelling it wrong. What I have found out is like the pains ive been feeling, similar to how a heart attack would feel Frown

Tietze's syndrome, which is a benign inflammation of the cartilages connecting to the sternum or ribs

It also says about pain radiating down the arm which i have had ugh..i read it can take up to 12 weeks to go...well ive had this a fair 4 or so weeks.  GP said they treat it with anti inflammatorys...being a crohns patient i am not allowed them so pain killers it is!

Im sooo glad its not a clot though thank god!

Oh! that's so good it's not a clot or anything that nasty!! I've had this same thing before, and yeah, it does take a while to go away and is really painful, but it does eventually go away. Know what you mean about not being able to have the anti-inflammatories. I had a bad neck the other week, and ended up giving in and just having some ibuprofen which fixed the neck within One Day!! but ... the intestines didn't like it much... not sure which was worse! lol!!! Thinking of you, and hoping your tietze's disappears very very soon!! :-) xx
