So i finally got a job! Recieved a call this morning from the the manager wanting to continue the hiring process. Never heard that before. Thought after the backround check,drug test, and application that was it. But i guess i was wrong. So i go in tomorrow get my schedual and everything. Other than that my dog roxy had surgery today. She's in pain and i don't know what to do for her. Other than that nothing new to report. Sorry I havn't been on much. I'll try to catch up when i can. Bye, Trouble.

So my birthday has passed and I feel exactly the same. No insurence it sucks. Got a dog for my birthday and she is awesome. She's black lab/Pitt bull. Her name is Slagathor Payne Puetz, we call her Thora for short. I'll put up pictures soon. I was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism. More medication blah blah blah. They think it's whats causing the numbness and tingling. My feet are starting to hurt again. It's been about a week since my last physical therapy. I didn't think my feet would go back to hurting so fast but oh well. The dogs keep my mind off the pain. Other than that not much going on.

Well you will just have to teach someone how to massage your tootsies for you! If the numbness and tingling in your hands is due to your thyroid than you should get better on the thyroid meds, right? Right! Happy birthday sugar bugar!

cool dog! i like her name. my mom has hypothyroidism, too. she hates it and has to take pills for it for the rest of her life. if she misses a dose she gets pretty sick. so make sure they get the right dosage for you and make sure you always take it. good luck with all and hope life is being good to you. :)
My hands are going to hell. I'm getting more depressed by the day. Everyone I come across says the same thing "Your too young to be having these problems" I can't grip anything without my hands going numb. I' dont know what to hope for. Carpal tunel (which only effects part of the hand) or nuropathy (sp?). My birthday is coming up so that means my insurence is about to run out. I knew that before but now with my hands giving me trouble I'm not sure if i can get the problem strighten out before I have no coverage. I have a doctors appt. on thursday so hopefully we can get this straighten out as quickly as possible. I'm even havning trouble writing this journal entry. :( I CAN"T EVEN COOK! Just have me in your prayers that this hand thing is easily fixable. Hugs TroubledOne

Oh Kris, I am so sorry you feel so crappy. Not being able to cook really tells me you feel like s***! I know it is difficult but you need to get a job and get insurance coverage so that you can get taken care of. I know that is difficult right now, but I am not sure what other options you have. Can you get student coverage thru Oakton? I hope the appointment goes well Thursday. You can come on over and relax at my house anytime! Love you, marcia

oh little one, sorry you are feeling so low. If it is carpal tunnel make sure they fix them not just some temporary fix. Hey i tried to join you in that chat request, but it just kept trying to load, then it kicked me out. I wonder if it even works. Marcia's right when you say you can't cook we know you are feeling bad! Don't worry, you should be able to get insurance thru your college or even the state if necessary. We will figure it out! Hugs and kisses!

I take a small circulatory pill to aid mine...But as for me 6 arthritses n FM/CFS I go for numb..ahhahah its better than the pain...pathetic we settle for such huh? a trade. Hope you get something figgured soon. HUGZ

take it easy, girl. day by day. that's all we can do. and everyone says the same thing to me about being too young to have such aggressive RA. we're not, and don't feel bad when they say that. they're just trying to be sympathetic without knowing the facts, and that's ok. just take it with a grain of salt. also, i know this may sound silly, but drink more, and lots more water! water is great for everything. of course it won't cure anything, but it does help. i know i'm always dehydrated & the less water i drink the more i hurt. good luck at the dr next week. btw, happy belated bday to you! and it was great meeting you & your mom last week.
