Close Fibromyalgia
I was diagnosed almost 4 years ago after being told for many years the pain was all in my head. My present Dr. recognized the symptoms right away because his Mom is a fellow sufferer.
Treatments
- Duragesic Patch Working / Worked
- I had Radio Frequency Oblation of the nerves in my lower back due to arthritis and scoliosis. Which seem to have calmed my entire nervous system down to some extent. currently not using the patch, but will when the process is repeated after the new year.
- Effexor Working / Worked
- considering going back on this again. it worked well in the past when I didn't realize that I had FM
- Guaifenesin Working / Worked
- have been taking it for about 2.5 years and is seems to work for me. helps with the chronic congestion of Asthma too.
- Heat Working / Worked
- Works some
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- currently taking and it's working well
- Vytorin Too Soon to Tell
- Just started
- Zanaflex Working / Worked
- Is currently working. I take it at night and it keeps my muscles loose so I don't wake up so stiff. Helps with sleep too
