I wish I new the answer for you. I think the test did indicate that you have IC. It can be a very painful and upsetting condition. I have yet to have the test but the doc seems to be 99% sure it is IC. I have found that following the diet 100% has lessened my pain. Hot baths and heating pads do wonders. I take a frequent bladder med that has done wonders. Also, I take 2 flexeril a day. I use narcotic pain meds sparingly and I rest when I need to. These things have helped me. God bless, Brooke

    • Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)

I had severe endometriosis and recently had a hysterectomy after having several scopes and one laparotomy. I had major complications after the laparotomy-internal bleeding, and after hysto- wound opened and MRSA. After I healed from hysto I continued to have severe pain and I started having to urinate all day and night. GYN did test putting acid in my bladder and dx me w/ IC. He refered me to Uro, and he wants me to have bladder test. Is it the same thing or what?? SO CONFUSED!
