My wife Mary had numerous health problems resulting from years of diabetes including heart and circulatory. She had surgery in August '06 for what appeared to be a brain anneurysm. As it turned out we could have forgone the surgery and now I wish we had. This was followed by a stroke in Oct. While in rehab for the stroke she contracted an infection and died of heart failure on Christmas day. God how I miss her.
My wife had Type 1 Diabetes since age 7. She died on Christmas day '06 at 49. She missed her 50'th birthday by 60 days (2/23). While she didn't live exactly as she should form diabetes care, she enjoyed life. Complications from the disease eventually took her away.
My wife Mary died on Christmas day from long standing complications from diabetes. She had brain srgery in August, a stroke in October, and complications while in rehab during December. She was only 49. I can't believe she is gone. I know I will go on but it hasn't been three months yet and its hard to do.
