      I am a 47 yr old mother trying to come to grips with the death of my 23 yr old son,marine.friend in a motorcycle accident away from home. He has died 7 mo ago and it feels like yesterday. I have 2 other children that it also has profoundly changed. We miss him soooo much. He was the light in every room...a 1000 people came to his wake. He also was a corrections officer in NYC and had only been there 3 mo but he touched all of them so deeply they traveled to see him. He truly was a gift.

      It releases the pain from my body. but does not make it disappear.
