i use to love these whale bones when i was a kid and i still feel thy are special. there a good karma in whity , especially at night. glad you had a good time.

I LOVE how the abbey is framed between the whalebones- stunning picture. I saw a travel tv show about Whitby- they showed these bones as well as the Loooong walk up the steps to the Abby-the history of the palce is so fasinating. I really wish we had been able to see it when I was in Northern England for a few days last summer- I tried to fit it in but could not as most of our time was spent in Scotland. I regret it now :( Oh well your pics are the next best thing, thx again for sharing with us!
