retired librarian, hobbies are animals, computing, reading, crafting.Diabetic for 11 years.Recently diagnosed with stage 3 kidney failure.I also have a pre-glaucoma condition for which I am using eye drops. I have 2 g.children 1 boy aged 10 and a girl aged 9. I have recently been diagnosed with neuropathy. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis last week.

Interests
Animal rescue, I have 2 rescue dogs and 1 pony with 1 eye!! Also 20 rescued hens, they were being flooded out. Reading, crosswords, crafting and computer friends.My DS friends.

wow daphne, i didn't know he wasn't working. how is your son paying on his house and all that, without working. is it a rental or does he have a mortage? he may be able to make a deal with the mortgage company to freeze it for a bit?

"our rescue centre they have a nativity and a vicar goes in and blesses the animals" totally love this daphne, i am going to copy it and suggest it to our humane society. they should be blessed. they are better than many humans.

Hi Hon, Wow, You rest I will be needed it by tomorrow night. I just finished making the stuffing for the turkey, been on it off and on for nearly 4 hours...Did the Green Bean Casserole, all the potatoes, white and sweet, collard greens, et. I am cooked out and tired. Also, did laundry too. Now going to rest up....Tomorrow, just got to stuff the bird and roast it and warm everything else up...Easy...we are having company too. So it will be a busy time...You take care and rest up for your trip to the hospital...Give those kids and Grandkids a hug too. Men, Richard slept all morning woke him up at 1PM and he is under like 3 blankets telling me his cold is back, he sounds fine, just don't want to do anything...oh well. Love U XXOO

I have had PVC's for 18 months, had all the tests, all ok.They seem to come and go, I have had them this time for 3 months, still going strong, I have relented and am taking beta blockers which are helping.
Close Diabetes Type 1
Hi, I have been diabetic (stage 1) for 11 years, its been fairly well controlled and I have just started to have kidney disease. I am pretty good with my diet, and I get plenty of excercise wihe my dogs.

I am type 1 diabetic and hve just been diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease, I dont know if this is the right community,this is the nearest one I can find. I wuld like to hear from anyone who is stage 3 and can give me any advice, I havnt been told to change my diet as its very good due to the diabetes, but I am anxious to try and stop my kidneys from deteriorating any further, any advice?
