About Me
retired librarian, hobbies are animals, computing, reading, crafting.Diabetic for 11 years.Recently diagnosed with stage 3 kidney failure.I also have a pre-glaucoma condition for which I am using eye drops. I have 2 g.children 1 boy aged 10 and a girl aged 9. I have recently been diagnosed with neuropathy.
Interests
Animal rescue, I have 2 rescue dogs and 1 pony with 1 eye!! Also 20 rescued hens, they were being flooded out. Reading, crosswords, crafting and computer friends.My DS friends.

Thanks for your caring words...The drink is one thing I really need and a good stiff one too. Hopefully, tomorrow he will go nicely for us. He just got up a few minutes ago and he is actually packing some of my orders. Ebay that is... Can you believe we are still get bands of rain and some windy conditions too from the Fay, even though she is miles from here. thanks hun. trying to get her to take her lectade lol she doesnt like it :P.... yanno she is 4.4 lbs about now maybe little less some chis stop growing before 3lb others grow to 14lb.. i estimate bindi around 8lb full grown though can never be sure

I have had PVC's for 18 months, had all the tests, all ok.They seem to come and go, I have had them this time for 3 months, still going strong, I have relented and am taking beta blockers which are helping.

Hi, I have been diabetic (stage 1) for 11 years, its been fairly well controlled and I have just started to have kidney disease. I am pretty good with my diet, and I get plenty of excercise wihe my dogs.

I am type 1 diabetic and hve just been diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease, I dont know if this is the right community,this is the nearest one I can find. I wuld like to hear from anyone who is stage 3 and can give me any advice, I havnt been told to change my diet as its very good due to the diabetes, but I am anxious to try and stop my kidneys from deteriorating any further, any advice?
