Saw the surgeon again, he took a look at my MRI and said oh yeah, you need surgery.
My appointment was for 3:30pm, guess what time I actually saw the doctor? 5:08pm!!! So by the time he saw me and said let's schedule you for surgery, the surgical scheduler was gone for the day because it was after 5pm. So she is supposed to call me tomorrow to set up an appointment for surgery. I don't trust that she will given her past history. So I will call tomorrow and make an appointment.
Doctor is not so willing to take on the expense of another $23,000 so I will most likely just have to make payments. This is going to be very expensive. But it is something I have to do.
The doctor said himself, I am just too young to have this level of constant pain. I really don't have a choice if I want to be able to hold down a job and be a single Mom.

So sorry Becky...I do know what chronic horrible pain is all about, as well as repeated surgeries. I wish you the best. Can you apply for any kind of insurance assistance or supplement as a single mom? Please do look into that. I am praying that all goes well and that you feeel better soon. I am glad you are having this done hun...it is so important... I am here if you need me...BTW, does this mean our summer job is out of the question??? hehehehehe
