I am in my late teens and living in Tennessee. I've been with my husband since August 29, 2004, and he's a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. I have been struggling with multiple health problems for nearly two years (the worst of them). I'm not going to list them all, as it would take too long. Don't believe me? Ray of Sunshine
Hi Honey! Hope you are doing ok. I'm so sorry I didn't have time to talk much when you called, hope married life is agreeing with you. We got back to Florida last Saturday night, and I am still worn out! Shawns Mom came home from the hospital, and has been doing ok, still alot of confusion going on with her though. She had a shunt placed in her brain to help drain excess fluid. Its ot going as well as we had hoped.

Sometimes when you can't get health care fast enough the best thing to do is go to the emergency room. Then they have to assign you a primary. With your record, (take them with you) I would think they would sit up and take notice. ( I hope). My son had a hard time getting a primary with the service insurance too as he is COast Guard and posted away from the rest in a small town in FL. But, it did happen so keep trying.

Close Fibromyalgia
I have always battled with the muscular difficulties and was able to be diagnosed during a flare-up in March of 2007.
Treatments
- Acupuncture Not Working
- Didn't do much of anything besides a learning experience.
- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- Thank God for hot tubs is all I can say.
- Cyclobenzaprine Not Working
- ..anymore. Used to help some, but I might as well be taking tylenol now.
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Lyrica Somewhat Helpful
- It helped me somewhat but the dizziness was so bad, I had to be taken off it.
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- It helped, but interfered with my other medications.
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- I was just put on a trial basis for this to see if it would help my joint issues and my muscle pain.
- Ultram Not Working
- It helps somewhat despite the sleepiness. But it wears off quickly.

- Not helping.

- I took it for the migraines, and the side "plus" was it helping the anxiety I was told. It didn't. :-p

- Horrible night terrors, saw imaginary people, wired and terrified all the time, given to me for insomnia due to the anxiety

- I take it when it gets pretty bad with anxiety attacks.

- Bad experiences, caused hallucinations, etc

Open Chronic Pain
I have been diagnosed with FMS since March of 07. I have been suffering from it since late 06, so I got lucky in that respect. I am 18 years of age, and find this disease to be oh-so much of a struggle.

- Acupressure Not Working
- It didn't work for me at all though the experience was fulfilling.
- Chiropractic Adjustment Somewhat Helpful
- It helped that day, but the next morning I was in such pain that it was not worth it.
- Flexeril Somewhat Helpful
- It helps me some, but I become so tolerant to meds so easily.
- Heat Working / Worked
- Heat is my best friend with muscle pains.
- Lyrica Not Working
- I had such horrible veritgo that I had to be taken off.
- Meditation Somewhat Helpful
- Helps somewhat during worse times when the bed is an all day location.
Open Family & Friends of Cancer Patients
My father has had alveolar soft part sarcoma for 10 years now. He's had 8 surgeries in that time, 6 on his lungs. My papa has colon cancer and has been through chemo and radiation as well as surgeries. A friend of mine died from cancer at the age of 17 in high school.
