All I did on Saturday was get a few groceries and that was it. My ankles are just killing me,they seem to be SOOOOO STIFF, it's hard to walk. Jim popped in for a little while, it was nice to see him. I still haven't finished his garden but he said he's not in any hurry either. I want to get it done before it gets too cold. I just want it done and over with, that's all. I still have a lot of cherry tomatoes, on my plants still. It's unbelieveable how well they produce. I've decided to plant more things in my garden next year. I planted a few other things this year but my problem was, I planted the rows too close together and too many seeds in a row causing crowding. It was just an experiement this year anyway. I haven't anything planned for today, don't know what the weather is going to be like, yesturday it was overcast, cloudy and cool. It should be, after all, it is Fall ! Dave used to love the changing colours on the trees, they are so beautiful, too bad it doesn't last very long. When Dave passed away, I bought a tree for the cemetary, just down a ways from where he is. It's a Maple tree, that is the first tree to change colours in the fall, I thought Dve would like that. The other trees he liked were, red maple and lilac.
Just so happens both of them, close by. Guess he lucked out there. Pretty soon we'll be complaining of the cold weather and the snow. We're never happy, are we ?
I'm still trying to think of something for Bill and Kathy for their anniversary, Connie Jim and I, are racking our brains and coming up with nothing. We did think of this place called Wheels Inn in Chatham, it's a big fancy Hotel with a theme park inside. I'm still waiting to hear from Connie. If I end up giving him money it will be in a gift certificate not CASH. He'lll just blow it on stupid stuff, if we did that. He has his priouritis all screwed up ! He blows his money on stupid stuff, then when it came to getting his teeth pulled, he complained he didn't have the money. He owns three cars, doesn't need that many, can only drive one at a time, just wants them for sho, same thing with those new rings they have for their anniversary. Kathy has sooo many rings it's rediculious. She wears them all but, she looks like a gypsy with so many of them on. They don't look nice because, there is just too many. If she just wore a few at a time they would look better. They seem to believe that rings and cars are status symbols of being rich ! I'm glad I don't need to put on heirs, to make me feel good about myself. Guess I should go to bed sometime this morning ! It's almost 1:30 AM now.
