I'm trying to reorganize, my Cornwall history, my mothers side. My uncle gave me a Character Family History. I'm going to put his history, in sheet protectors, it was ALL HANDWRITTEN, making it all that more precious. I appreciated that fact, that he sent it to me in the first place, lot of people WOULD NOT. I'm not like that either, someone might have, that one piece of vital information, you've been looking for, for years. That's what happened, with my second cousin. I had been looking for William Thomas for five years, in Ontario and Michigan, only to find out they were, in Florida. Without his help, I'd still be looking for him. You just NEVER KNOW, where they will turn up. I know, one of William's son, Robert A., is in San Diago, have to go there, in the future.
I did some genealogy sorting yesturday, then went to Jim's. I picked up McDonalds for lunch for us. He welcomed the break. His shirt was soaked in sweat, enough to wring it out. Buddy jumped all over me, when he saw me. I stayed until he was finished. I didn't do much, but wanted to be there, in case something, happened to him and keep Buddy busy. His head grazed a nail and started to bleed, if he had slipped and hit it, could have been worse. I'm just worried about, something possibly happening to him, while he is working alone. ACCIDENT DO HAPPEN, nobody there, knows him, that well. I won't be that concerned, when he moves in, he'll be relaxed, enjoying his place. It's just the rushing around, to get things done, BEFORE he moves in. I just love him so much and just don't want anything to happen to him. We got all the boxes, he brought down into the shed, organized on shelves, so he's happy.
I asked if he has seen Bill, he said NO, and I don't care. He always has Saturday and Sun, off. He said Bill asked him over for supper, two nights in a row, he said no, because he was taking me, out to supper. He probably thinks I went, every night, so he is in a snit, sound familiar ? Jim's going to church this morning and leaving by the afternoon, has to work tomorrow. He's happy, with everything he has accomplished. He wanted to look at laminate flooring he saw, last time he was here but, the big summer warehouse sale is over. His shed was the # ! , priority on his list and now it's done, just a couple more shelves . The ones he needed most are complete. I can hardly wait for him to move down, we can have BBQ's, go places together, like shopping in the states, etc.
Should get going so, I can get the Cornwalls organized and put back in binders and on the shelf. I still don't know, when Connie and I are going on our genealogy, day trip. She said in August, so, it should be soon. She just had synvisc, injected in her knee, because it is soooo bad. Her knees, are as bad as my ankles, we make a good pair. We laughed about it, last time we were together.
Hope the sun is shining brightly, you are enjoying this lovely day !

That's neat you are researching your family history. And you were so thoughtful to stick around while Jim worked. You're right, you never know when an accident will happen and I bet he enjoyed your company. xoxo
