      Always hugs.... Please dont be too afraid... explanations and questions are how people teach and learn.. maybe your partner can explain a little to her most trusted friends, then they will not feel so confused initially.. not many people i know, have any clue about multiples... and honey, it is not just voices in your head, (i think that is a symptom of schizophrenia,and psychosis. i dont think that is the same as DID at all.) Other identities is closer to an understandable explanation,as far as i see it. If it is comfortable to you , maybe your partner can explain a little, privately, to close friends before large family gathering or dinner. Maybe you can meet some before the dinner also... So your alters and you will not feel so anxious when first meeting in a larger group.. sometimes our problems need to be delicately balanced.. hugs again my good friend....please please say hi to me when you can or at least when you get back!!! Oh! Please Have as much fun as the last wonderful vacation you and your partner shared.... Keep that Beautiful, Wonderful, Freedom, happy, and content in your heart !!!!!

      hi and hugs i hope things work out w u and partner and family. Sometimes families understand... i hope hers are as nice and understanding as she must be....Some of my family is understanding about my new and forever partner, but usually they are initially confused. So, a few have asked questions and 1good friend talked to a relative with a medical background. Now that she understands more she is very ok and really likes/loves my girlfriend.. And as people understand, it gets much easier.. i know i view from the other side of the fence...... But all the niceness i have known from you, should come shining through!!! i hope this hug has some encouragement for you... all my love and hugs to you and partner...Please have a Really Great Time! xxxoooxxx
