This week hasn’t worked out as planned. tues and wed were great but 6 yr old’s been sick since thurs. tonight they helped me make lemon pie, blew bubbles, went around the block on the wagon and fell asleep watching harry potter so at least a good last evening before her return. at least my wife wasn't here to yell at her while she was sick. i feel a little guilty for feeling disappointed because i know it's not her fault she got sick. anyway back to the 4 of us tomorrow.

hey scott, sorry the week didn't turn out as planned, but at least you got some quality time in! would big h really have gotten yelled at for being sick???

not for being sick just for all the little things that have happened (spilled drinks etc) as part of it. i practically had to yell at them to get them to hug her when she got back. and they've both fallen asleep snuggling with me in the rocking chair while my wife had the couch to herself saturday and tonight. i guess it is true what she always says, payback is a bitch lol. anyway the girls and i had two good days flying kites, riding bikes, etc while she slept on the couch. so even after she got back it seemed like she was still gone. she says she's sick but so am i and i've been taking care of the girls anyway.
