      Welcome to this support group! You need to get a copy of "The 36 Hour Day" by Nancy Mace. It's a great book that will help you understand how to cope with Mom's problems. Hope you have a good day (it's hard sometimes) and find alot of support here! Hugs to you...Sammygirl

      Father died at 81 in July. He was caregiver for my mother with Dementia (1st stage)and they lived in Toronto. She lives with my sister now in Cdn. Arctic (where I live too). There are no facilities at all, and no older people who are not Inuit. Don't know what to do.
