Faith is two years old! she is the love of my life! I'm a single stay at home mom so faith spends alot of her time with me! I'm 24yrs old and im looking to go back to school this fall.Faith turns three in september, she also gets to start school! im trying to meet people who are going through some of the same trials/situations.

Close Mitochondrial Diseases
Faith severly aspirates so she is fed through a G-tube, she has acid reflux,disorganized muscle tone, and developmentally delayed.She doesnt walk, crawl or sit. faith hasnt been diagnosed yet but her neurologist thinks she has a mitochondrial disorder. Her pyruvate level wa low and her lactate level was high.We have one more test to go a skin and muscle biopsy! If you have any advice or information such as more test i should demand please write me and tell me.
Close Cerebral Palsy
All the doctors say she has C.P. but they still want to do some testing to make sure she doesnt have a metabolic disease! all is going well she said hi it made me cry the first time! now she says it all the time!
Treatments
- Baclofen Too Soon to Tell
- I feel like the baclofen only makes her tired. But its only been a couple of months since shes been on it! I know it takes time to kick in but i havent gotten a definite answer on how long it takes to calm the muscles!
