Journal Entry for November 8, 2009 Mood
Sunday, November 8, 2009 | A General Update story

Hi all.Haven't been on for awhile,I know.Things are status quo.Still waiting for this crazy disability to come through. The last update was it was in review with the Appeals Council and they were waiting for medical evidence from my doctor.Gee whiz, how much medical evidence do they need?!Wasn't there enough at my hearing?I should have gotten it then anyway.I never should have been denied.Brrother!

Also a little bit of sad news~I lost my cat Bam Bamm on November 2nd.Her kidneys were so bad not even hydrating helped her.All she did was vomit and she was as dry as a prune the vet said.It was time.I lost her sister in July, and I think that had a lot to do with it.She missed her terribly, and I watched her go down hill from there. They were littermates:)

The good news is I adopted a 7 month old kitten yesterday. His name was Snugglebug, but I changed it to Boo Boo Kitty~Boo for short. He got his name because he was afraid of his own shadow. He kept scaring himself, lol. He was playing the piano this morning.Maybe I should have named him Liberace instead:)

As for how I feel~baby steps.I've had a better week this week.Every day gets closer to recovery, right? It's a very slow process and I've learned to accept that.

Well, time for church. It's a beautiful Indian Summer Day here in Chicago.Take care all and enjoy your day:)

Hi Beckie! Nice to hear from you!

I'm so sorry about Bam Bamm....it's so sad when we lose our pets! I'm sure the passing of her sister had a lot to do with her strength and fortitude. Still it's so sad, and I'm sorry.

Glad you ran right out and got a kitten. I know if something ever happens to our Monty...we'll get another kitty! Everybody has to have a pet...and I just love kittens!! Hope this one isn't a curtain climber or a furniture scratcher Beckie...that's the chance we always take with these creatures.

We were luck with Monty! He doesn't claw ANYTHING, but what he does do it puke up hairballs! Oh, for joy!!

I do hope the disability case is close to over..it's been a long wait I know.

Patience my friend. If they were gonna turn you down this time, you'd alreay know!!

    Many warm hugs, Beckie!

I hope you're right. And no,Little Boo Boo Kitty is not a scratcher or curtain climber. He was using a scratching pad before I adopted him and he takes right to the one I bought him.His name was Snuggle Bug,which he is,but I named him Boo Boo Kitty after his own shadow scared him.It was like someone said "BOO!" to him, lol. So out of my mouth it came:)I woke up to a piano serenad this AM~Maybe I should call him Liberace instead.
