About Me
I am 40 something and have 3 amazing and beautiful children aged between 16 and 21. I am married to a wonderful and hard-working man for 22 years. I come from a strong Irish, Catholic background born and raised in the Bronx. I work full time as a very productive Realtor. I work with a team of amazing strong women. I have fibromyalgia but it doesn't have me. I am spiritual, positive and proactive in everything that I do. I found this site and I want to share my information about fibromyalgia with other women who can relate. I do not expect my co-workers, friends or family members to be my sounding board. I have terrific days and some difficult days. I believe that the symptoms of fibromyalgia are as unique as the person that is affected by it, although there is a commom thread of basic symptoms.

you are going to have to communicate to your children that they need to get organized because you are dealing with lots of physical stress. also i pray that all the people in your family that are suffering from addiction may recover fully. i am here if you ever need me. god bless. hope you are doing well. things will get better. it just takes time.

Thank you very much. I have been feeling quite good so I am positive about next year being a much better year all round. What I am doing seems to be working fine, just a few adjustments and listening to my body more should do the trick. Hope you are feeling ok and I hope things improve for you also next year. Close Fibromyalgia
I had a virus in 1997 (parvo virus) which mimicked severe rheumatoid arthritis. Ever since then, I'd have all this crazy pain and weird stuff. Self diagnosed myself in 2002 after doing research on the net. My flare ups are mostly at this time of year. Change of weather and stress bring it on as well as a viral infection.

- Very bad choice at the chiropractor

Close Family Issues
2 years ago, my son started getting in trouble because of marijuana use. Because of the "war on drugs" and the new state and local laws regarding pot, his life has been hell and so has the lives of our entire family.

Extremely busy mother of 3 wonderful, but albeit TEENAGE and YOUNG ADULT kids who are always a part of some kind of major drama or worry. I work full time, manage everyones home life solo most of the time as my husband travels ALOT. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in early 2000s, and stress is the worst thing for THAT. I'm the go to person for everyone in my extended family when things need fixing. Also dealing with a sibling who is a terrible alcoholic.
