I am Dr.Fred, because I'm A Retired Optometrist, for over 10 years.Practiced for over 33 years. Gave"Sight"to others so as to learn from their "Insight". I am happily married to a very lovely lady for over 45 years. She survived and supported me doing my episodes. I owe my life to her.. At 67...I have the knowledge and experience with Bipolar Disorder. My "Mission" here at DS is to "Help Others in achieving emotional stability with Bipolar Disorder".

Close Bipolar Disorder
My story is over 50 years with BP l. For the first 25 years I lived with over 5 episodes. Now,with changing my thoughts and a consistency of Lithium,I have changed my Life. I have maintained 25 years of emotional stability !
Treatments
- Lithium Working / Worked
- I was one of the first to receive Lithium when FDA first approved it in 1970. It worked,but I would not comply. Result, over 5 episodes. Findly I needed to comply. Now it keeps me stable for the last 25 years !

Open Other Heart Problems
Type: Heart MurmurAortic Disorder leading to Aortic Insufficiency. Left Ventricle dilation/thickness leading to Aortic Value Replacement Surgery by August 4th,2008. At the end of Nov 2008,I'm A SUCCESFUL recovered tissue aortic valve replacement patient. A new life.
