Journal Entry for March 18, 2008 Mood
Tuesday, March 18, 2008 | A Call For Help story
I need prayer!!! The sickness at our house is still on a rampage. Last night or should I say this morning at 3/am Cathy started vomiting. She woke me up and I went downstairs to help. I have been up since then. She vomited so many times we lost count and then the diarrhea started. She was the color of chalk poor thing. She was so weak she could hardly make it back to bed each time. Brayden refused to sleep the night in his crib so I put him on the futon with me and just watched him sleep until 8/am. George took Cathy to the walk in clinic and they gave her a shot of phenergan and that has about knocked her out. She hasn't been able to keep a sip of anything down. Brayden is over the worst of his, but still refuses to eat and isn't sleeping well. I'm exhausted and I keep having twinges of cramping in my stomach. Please please pray that I don't get this bug, but if I do...then please Lord let it be when Cathy is able to care for Brayden. The men around here "try" but they just don't have what it takes to care for the baby all day. I just don't know how much more any of us can take. I know this is widespread and it's not just us. In fact, I talked to my vet's office today and she has been so sick that she is at work today hooked to an IV because of dehydration. She's got more guts than me...I'd be buried at home under a blanket. I just need strength to get past the next few days. I know that God doesn't give us more than what we can bear...I know that and I believe that...but right now my exhaustion is speaking for me instead of my faith. "In our weakness, His strength is made perfect". I believe that, but I need prayer to keep that thought!!!

You know other people outside your home that are sick?Because it might be a good idea to get a carbon monoxide tester for your home..you all have been sick too much!

Our prayers are being said for you and your whole family. They said this flue is the worst
than any other flue. Take care so you don't come
    down with this flue.
