Hi friends. I hope you have all been well. I find myself staying bored most of the time. Oh it's nothing to do with "idle time" just bored with the chores of life sometimes. My Cathy is due to have the baby in about 3 weeks. Every day I wonder if I should be packed and headed that way. I need to be there when he is born, but I really need to be there to help after the birth! He is going to be a "planned" induction, but we all know that babies come when THEY are ready no matter how we plan. Cathy has been feeling alot of pressure and some cramping as well. She goes to the doctor twice a week for special tests because of her diabetes. It is under great control and she hasn't gained a pound this time either. They just worry about the placenta stopping it's job too soon and they aren't taking any chances! PTL....So far everything is going great. Tomorrow they will do the growth check and we will have an idea of how big he is. Last time he was right on target so we aren't really worried about a large baby...but then again even sophistcated tests have an margin of error...so who really knows how big he is? Just pray he is not too big! Brayden continues to amaze us all with how smart he is. He has always been a great talker and in the past few months that has even improved if that's possible. He loves people and he tells them EVERYTHING. Last week he and Cathy were at lunch with a friend. In the booth across from them sat a lone man, eating his lunch. Brayden decided to stand up in the booth and look at Cathy's friend and begin his tale of "potty training". He looks at Eileen and says..."Eileen, I am potting training. You know what you have to do when you potty train? He puts his hand in his pants and takes hold of his "pee pee"....and continues "You have to take your pants down and sit on the potty chair and hold your pee pee like this. Then you have to bend it down and point it into the potty. Mommy told me not to touch it too much though because then it gets too big and won't fit down in the potty chair!" By this time the gentleman was spitting hamburger into his napkin and tears were streaming down his face from laughter. Leave it to Brayden to liven up a crowd! He is full of stories and loves to tell one about every day. Cathy wants him there when Cameron is born...I told her to be prepared for the "BIRTH STORY" to be broadcast in every place they go for the next year or so.
Hope you are all well as I said earlier. I am ok. Diabetes is sometimes getting the best of me and stress............well we all know what stress can do. Hang in there guys and remember that I think of you always.

So good to hear from you! Wow! it's time for the new baby already? Hope everything goes well. Yes, those kids can really embarrass a mother sometimes, especially little boys it seems. Hope you're doing well and not working too hard! I need to write a journal one of these days.................I've been busy but also lazy!

From the mouths of babes. :) Brayden is adorably funny.
As for Cathy, I will say a little prayer that Cathy's pregnancy remains uneventful and her delivery will be a happy one for all. And as always, you're in my prayers too, dear friend.
