STILL NO NEWS Mood
Tuesday, August 19, 2008 | A Frustrating story
SHELLEY IS STILL IN THE HOSPITAL...THEY STILL DO NOT KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH HER. THEY ASSUME IT'S AN INFECTION THAT ISN'T SHOWING UP ON THE TESTS, BUT ALOT OF THE TESTS AREN'T BACK YET. THE ONCOLOGIST SAYS SHE WILL HAVE TO STAY THERE UNTIL THEY HAVE SOMETHING DEFINITIVE. I SPENT THE AFTERNOON WITH HER TO KEEP HER SPIRITS UP. I HAVE BEEN GOING EVERY OTHER DAY BECAUSE OF THE DISTANCE AND PRICE OF GAS. TODAY I TOOK CARDS AND WE PLAYED RUMMY AND HAD FUN. I THINK IT DID US BOTH GOOD. I PRAY THAT BY TOMORROW THEY WILL KNOW SOMETHING.

I would imagine she's pretty sick of being there but it's better to stick it out and find the cause than go home and wonder....and maybe it would get worse! We will all pray that tomorrow she will have an answer........

OMG ~~~ I don't know how you are doing it.. I would be crazy by now, well at least alittle more crazier than I already am. Back and forth from Where you live to this side of town to the hospital is a trip in its self not to mention the cost of gas. I am so sorry this is happening to Shelley and that you too are going through this difficult time. I know God doesn't give us more than we can handle but sometimes it sure seems like he likes to test our limits.. I hope you know that my prayers and thoughts are with you.. Love and hugs..

How difficult this must be. I hope you take care to try to rest and eat well, as you'll need to keep your strength up. Thank you for the update. Love you!

A lot of those tests can take a week or longer to come back positive unfortunately and it is SO frustrating!!!! My prayers are with her!! I am glad though that she is in the hospital where they can monitor her symptoms and hopefully provide pain relief and relieve other symptoms!

I certainly hope the drs. can come up with something
positive. The waiting each day drains strength out of
both of you. I pray that she will be released very
    soon.
