Well done Huw, good that you are using spiritual help to stop, definitely the best way and wow, you have proven that.
I gave up about 7 years ago at the time I first came into AA, way before I had a spiritual awakening but of course I couldn't stay stopped with the alcohol.

Diagnosed as type 2 diabetic - no obvious symptoms, no medication. looking primarily for dietry advice and especially experience. It's known as the 'silent killer' in these parts - I can totally relate, I feel absolutely nothing at all apart from some tiredness after meal times and am a heavy sleeper. Not even sure if this is diabetes-related.
