Hi, where in the US are you? I have various connections and can help you to find resources in your area for Diabetes care.
I relate completely, both my parents live with my husband & I, they have for 10 years now. At first it was fine because they were able to travel and now they can only travel if we take them or someone comes to get them. They don't want to go with others very often and always for a short time due to Dr. appointments which all land on me because siblings don't live close. Mine don't feel they need caring for so when it's suggested it's a battle. I really pray that you can go away without her for your own time with family but if not prayers that you can still relax some. Burn out is really easy to get so time away would really be great for your whole family.
The things that cause me the most anxiety are conflicts with people I care about. Last year we had a major life changing event in our life. My elderly mom had to move in with us due to her health, and yes that was stressful. Particularly because my husband had to go on the nightshift at work so he could be with her during the day while I worked. The big stuff I can handle. The conflicts with my brother and my nephew over aspects of the transition almost put me over edge. There's no end.
Recently diagnosed and wanting to get a handle on this.
