I have started a knitting blog on Google's blogger. It has been a good fthing for me so far and it has gotten me back knitting again, something that I have not been able to do in the last three months. Please read my blog and feel free to subscribe and leave comments. http://knittok.blogspot.com/

The dust has been amazing. Where is it all coming from? I have taken everything out of our master bedroom today, vacuumed, cleaned everything, and put it all back in the room -- all that on only one cup of coffee! I am a llittle tired now and my neck and back are feeling it, too. I am content that it has been a very productive day Smile

I has been a weird week. Mercury is in retrograde. It peaked a couple days ago. That explains a lot.

I was doing so well with my mom's death, then I did a nose dive. Mr. Nutkins made a remark about me and my sis in law making plans to have a little place for mom's ashes, with a picture and candle. I wasn't doing well before that, and that didn't help my sadness. Things a much better now, but is was a shock to be that depressed again.I was just talking to my best friend and she said her husband was irritable on Wednesday, too. I explained to her that Mercury's retrograde path peaked about then. She was relieved to hear that.

The server I am connected to is having a problem, everything is very slow. I need to reboot my router and all. I have to write my performance map and goals for the next fiscal year, which is starting July first. I am not in a writing mood. If I can accomplish that today, I will be content.

I am re-reading the last two Harry Potter books in preparation for he fifth movie, the Order of the Phoenix, on July 11, and the seventh book, the Deathly Hallows, on July 21. I has been good to get wrapped up in that world of magic.

Sometimes it's good to get lost in another world and just sink into those fantasies. I do that with my Victorian era books. Just daydream...

It was a nice weekend to spend with Mr. Nutkins after his week-long trip. One of our siamese kitties got sick with an ear infection on Friday. She was pretty limp and had some red tinged drainage out of her ear. I took her to the cat vet early Saturday morning. She got a lot of attention there because she is so beautiful and well behaved. I was beaming with pride!

She needs her teeth cleaned, but cannot be anesthetized because she is 14 and has a heart murmur. The doctor said she may not survive it. That made me so sad to think of, especially after just losing my mom. Chloe is my right-hand girl, my shadow. By the next, Chloe was feeling so much better and bounding all over the place! She had lost some weight but is gaining it back. She was only just over 6 pounds at the vet's office.

I went to the air museum with Mr. Nutkins, where he is a docent. It has been a long time since I had been there with him. That is where we met. I got to see a new display plane with an open cockpit and sat in it for a while. Fun!

We had a great time with my dad, brother, and sis-in law for Dad's-day. We really spoiled him with all of our gifts, which he well deserved. Then we were all of to see the Pirates of the Caribbean movie, all of us. It was a long and busy movie. Now that I have seen it, I can say the first one is still my favorite. It was good to see Captain Barbosa again.

This week, Mr. N and I will shop for some gorgeous wood for our new project. We are going to make a box for my mom's ashes to be displayed on lace with a picture and a few of her trinkets inside. It will be mostly his woodworking skills, but I will help. He does beautiful work.
