47 years old, Happily married to wonderful man. Mother to 7 4-legged ones. 2 inside boxers, 2inside cats, and 3 outside cats. 1 outside cat has since passed away to kitty heaven. Now march 17, 2008 my friend Brindle went to doggy heaven. 2 new baby kitties for outside, they were kind of rescued.

Close Hepatitis C
I was diagnosed with hep C type 1 in the summer of 2003 six weeks before my wedding. I got a letter from local health dept. as I had donated blood to the red cross. I was alone when I got the letter and didn't even know what it was. I just knew it sounded scary. I immediately got some library books on hep c. I learned what is was about then, and it sounded more scary. I am hoping to find some help and support from other people who have hep c.

Open Diets & Weight Maintenance
Needed to quit smoking and to lose weight. Started with smoking. I smoked 2 packs a day for 28 1/2 years. Have not had a cig since Nov.21, 2006 (56 days) I'm going to wait a little longer so I'm more secure in the not smoking, then I will start working on the weight. I need to lose about 100 pounds. Just thought I'd sign up for this community in advance.
