      I enjoy playing softball, walking, computers, playing with our dogs, Bandit and Kasey, gardening, watching cop shows and sports on TV--Cubs and Bears walk 2 to 2 1/2 miles a day 6 days a week.

      I have had tinnitus 7-8 years, possibly due to a partial hearing loss.

      Avodart Working / Worked
      Avodart works well, but might interfere with libido and sperm production.
      Hytrin Working / Worked

    • Open Diabetes Type 2

      I've had diabetes 2 for 10years or so. My last A1C was 6.2 down from 7.3 six months ago, but struggling since Avandia scare. It's probably back in the 7's.

      Treatments

      Taking avandia is scary! Will prescriptions and herbs kill me before the diabetes will?
      Eating Healthier Foods Working / Worked
      I try to watch my carbs,esp. those that are high on the glycemic index, but I like salty snacks too much, and sugar-free candies, etc. usually don't agree with me.
      Garlic Working / Worked
      Garlic-works
      Glipizide Working / Worked
      Good
      Metformin Not Working
      Too much upset stomach and diarrhea.
      Physical Exercise Working / Worked
      I walk 2 to 2 1/2 miles a day, 6 days a week.
