  When my son was eleven he got the notion that he could attack me. Too long ago to remember what it was over. But I simply jumped on him, all 200 LBS of me at the time and that put a permanent end to his having those 'attack' thoughts ever again. I don't think violence can ever be tolerated. It is the 'deal breaker' in every situation except for a need for self-defense. Why is your daughter doing this to you? Has it happened before? What are the consequences for her doing this to you? I hope it never happens again. Patricia
