Just mad at the government and all the ilk that has killed it off Mood
Saturday, December 6, 2008 | A Frustrating story

Eric Holder’s role in the pardon of Marc Rich is unlikely to derail his nomination as attorney general, but it will give Senate Republicans a chance to make their Democratic colleagues squirm.

“I don’t think there is anything [in Holder’s record] that would disqualify him,” said an aide to one GOP senator on the Judiciary Committee. “Certainly there are opportunities to make some of the Democrat senators a little red faced.”

It seems all I read anymore is the kind of “tit for tat” politics that plays out in the above statements.  What happened to that concept “for the people, by the people and of the people”?  Our government does not care about “we the people” all capital hill and the White House care about is Democrats verses Republicans.  The adversarial relationship is now like that of labor verses management.  “We the people” have been lost to the lobbyists and the fortune hunters that plague the halls of our government at all levels.  Like labor which has brought down many an industry with the power to pout; oops I guess that the right word is strike, the lobbyists have brought down our government by appealing to the greed with large sums of money.  Even our president elect was given over 100 million dollars by Fannie Mae and Mac to look the other way.  Who can withstand that kind of hush power?  Not many, for those who would ravage our government and destroy its good name work very diligently just a divorce lawyer will appeal to the greed of a man or woman when instead they need help not trashing their lives for the money they will make after the pieces have been swept up and put in the trash and that my friend is what is going on in our government.  It has been going on for so long a time that these people; lobbyists and government have been raking you and I over the coals for so long that it has become the way of governing.  I have heard all the rhetoric from the last election that sounds just like what was said during Truman’s campaign (earliest I can remember) right down to what was said this past year.  Nowhere were issues that concern “we the people” talked about, instead it was Palin’s clothes and jewelry or give wall street billions or give or give or give.  What about me one of “we the people”?  Why should bankers get more money just because they destroyed the lives of “we the people” across this country.  Why should the automotive industry get a bail out when all they did was make it impossible for “we the people” to buy their over priced shoddy built pieces of junk.

Atta boy. Rip and shread. I agree. I'd love it if they gave "we the people" some of that bail out money. Maybe 10% of our income. That's for those we
    who don't make 75,000 a year.
    Rant on radical dude!
