I am 47 & just diagnosed a week ago w/CML early stages & just started Gleevec. I am looking for information & insight to this new journey that God has put me on and ready to meet the challenges it presents. WE are a Christian family with great faith as God has been with us through some challenges already in our 25 years of marriage. We have 3 lovely children,23,19,9. I love the outdoors & outdoor sports. Professionally I am a Dental Hygienist. Thanks for any input & God's Blessings to you all!

Hi Chacer,I'm sure I have written you before but I don't remember at this moment. I am 62 and diagnosed with CML in March of 2007. I am now in Remission but never feel very good. How are you doing? I often need someone to talk to, if you feel the same you may write to me at cgtucker@wk.net . I am a christian, if fact it is the most important part of my life. I hope you will write me and we will become great friends. I am a very active 62 except that CML & the meds involved keep me down a lot. Take care & God bless.Redbird

Keep up the faith! CML cannot get the best of you, if you don't let it. I was 18 when I went thru a BMT for CML and that was 10 years ago. I am here if you want to talk.

Thanks Chase, My parents got my daughter a pug puppy for her "early" 16th birthday. She is so cute! I just love her. She is a joy to have around the house when my husband and kids are gone. :) I hope things are good with you. I will keep you in my prayers
