Currently 25 weeks, just had an unclear ultrasound which suggests that I may have something on my spleen---hoping it is something that can be taken care of after the birth of my baby.
Open Tooth Grinding
I initially learned that I was grinding when I woke up one morning with a cracked front tooth. After going to the dentist who confirmed it, fixed my tooth and suggested I try a mouth guard. But instead of the traditional large mouth guard she suggested I try a device that fit over my 2 front teeth that was fitted to my mouth. It is called the Nociceptive Trigeminal Inhibition Tension Suppression system and I decided to try it. And it worked great!

- Nociceptive Trigeminal Inhibition Tension Suppression system. It is a small mouthpiece that fits over my 2 front teeth and has worked wonders for me. It took about 2 days to get used to but the results have been wonderful. I don't wake up with the headache and stiff neck that I use to any longer and I think it even helped with some of the muscle pains I had in my back. I got it through my dentist, who told me the mouthpiece was designed for individuals who suffer from migraines.
