The shortest days are here, I miss the sunshine and warmth. I struggle with the rebellious inner child who wants to stay home and enjoy vacation time as opposed to the misery of going to work in this challenging weather ( snow, windy, ice, cold and crazy ) with urban terriorst driver behind the wheels  out there on the roads ! There must be some part of me that's burned out after 30 years of this treadmill I have been running on constanly. AAHH, just a little more patience and perservernce....

Seems to be the story of my life so far....

  This too shall pass

Yes this too shall pass. You are getting nasty weather down your way. Just plain cold up here and no traffic to go to war with. hugs. marilyn

Yes I understand what you are saying Phil, I watch my husband go out in the mornings in the cold, damp frosty weather, manic drivers on the road.. and feel so sad for him after all these years that he is still having to go out there, tired and ready for a break from the treadmill! A little more patience and perserverence...our life journey too!!...and it WILL pass, as all things do.
Hang on in there..some days can be so different and uplifting..and things and feelings are ever-changing. Diana.

Maybe something you could consider is moving to a warmer climate. It sure helps with the depressing and cold days of winter. Right now Florida it is lovely and although we have to put up with hurricanes and heat in summer, we do have these beautiful mild winters.
I hope you can find the patience and fortitude to make it through the holidays and old man winter. Hang in there!
