I hate all the commercialized salesmanship that we get bombarded with by the economy for profit seasonal pressure. Than comes Jan 2 and like an overblown balloon all the air goes out and the reality returns. Can this be why the suicide rate go thru the roof at this time of the year?
Every day should be a day recognized for the latent gifts and opportunities it bring with it for us to celebrate in our lives and living. We need to stop following the followers who try to mislead us.
Alas, who was it that said, "I see a road and ask way, rather I see the path in the road and ask, why not? "
Hey, make it happen, your accomplishments speak louder than the word in your head that diminish the facts....
I will celebrate every day as a dau of Thanksgiving and for Thanksgiving and try to encouage all who I know to become aware of thesame......
Amazing Boz ( still Phil )

I agree about all the commercialism...we like to do it our own way, and remember the true meaning of why we celebrate. I love the children's Nativity plays at school,....the innocence of children is wonderful. The feeling of community, and a sense of joy in the air. I love being at home with my husband, and having my daughters and grandchildren visit. All the hype and commercialism...and the Turkey...we leave behind. I hope you have a happy day today..it's just a 'normal' day here in the U.K. There is so much in life to celebrate if we can keep our thinking right!! Take care, Diana
