You do what is best for you and your child. But being in the same house with a man who isn't going to forgive your mistake is a living nightmare for you. Can you live like that and subject your child to the constant tension? But you alone have the power to change things for yourself. I'm sorry that you're in emotional pain but that will pass and be easier to deal with later on. Just sit down and write yourself a letter and tell yourself what you want out of life. Sometimes it helps just to talk to yourself honestly. Keep your chin up and you will survive this terrible time in your life.

Ive been married for 11yrs At the start my H was away a lot.Then when he was home he was away from the house.I always felt last on his list.I told him how I felt and suggested counceling many times.I was very lonely. After I had the kids it was worse.After 8 years I am the one who had the affair and regret it.I have no excuse for what I did no matter how lonely I felt.My H said he forgave me.He's been gone for a yr and I've learned a lot, now he says he doesn't forgive me and wants a divorce.

Close Infidelity
I cheated on my husband. I am not proud of what I did. I was lonely and felt always second best. There was some emotional and physical abuse, but I really didn't see it at the time. I asked him several times to go to counceling but he refused and I ended up meeting someone else. I ended it with him and told my husband everything in hopes to save or marriage we have 2 kids. At the time he told me he forgave me, now he says he says he never did forgive me and wants a divorce.
