Hello to all of the members of Daily Strenght.
It has been a very strange last 6 months here at DS, but I am to fast to think that things could and can be back to the way they were in 2007.
Ever since 2008 has started, this place felt more like a battle field than a place where we once felt like it was our Haven.
Do I dare to think that this Preditor is gone and gone for good.
I will start coming here again daily like I did since I've been here 2006, and help the people who needs desperately someone to help them with the initial shock of being diagnosed with the horrible virus of Hepatitis c.
So I urge you all to pray with me that this preditor has visited this site for the last time, last month.
Hopefully we can live again in Harmony, and maybe trust will also come in time.
Thanks to those who will take the time to reflect on these words and pray that we indeed will be in a harmonious place again.

Our darling Warrior Tattman has left the building.
I respect his decision, and if this place is still not safe, I beleive quite a few older members will be doing the same.
So sad, always thought we were safe and protected. :(

I am at a loss as to what predator everyone is refering since I have yet to be attacked by anyone. Perhaps I need to spend more time here. Don't let anyone drive you away with words. I too will miss Tattman very much.

McKenzie-I am not going anywhere, I love this site and hope you continue to stay as well. You are one of the most kind helpful and caring souls here. If we could just get everyone to use the Ignore button, when mentally disturbed individuals make themselves known, we could have an ant free picnic. I say get out the bug spray and hit the ignore member button on disturbing members profiles. This person is not going away, we just have to ignore him. So don't leave us ok? We have ant spray LOL.

Sadly, one doesn't need a Police Check to become a member of this site - &, realistically, we have to expect this sort of thing. I choose to believe that this person is sick - as I know how destructive my elder d. can be when hypermanic. He doesn't want help, but not matter who much he annoys - and shocks - ignore is the answer. He (or any one of them, there may have been more) doesn't like history lessons! So sad that old friends are going. JaneD.

Being one who was abused verbally and ... well we won't get into that, but I am so greatful that whenever this person would show it's presence in our community, I was wise enough or rather scare beyong words, and would go and hang in members journal, and not go a all to the forum. I never once answered one of these posts, or contributed any opinion on it, I was way to scared that he would notice me, and start harrasing me. Which he never did, but you can be sure I wasn't in the spotlight for him to notice me.
Last night came in only to see that he was back. So I will again step away and let him do what he does best, and wait till he goes away again.
But one thing does trouble me, why is he allowed to posts, when so many of our older members who had the guts to try to get rid of him, are banned now.
This I don't quite get yet?
Anyways, I guess I have to be invisible again from my hep c community, and time will tell is I do stay or not...

I had to leave a site that I was on just before I found DS. I was on a site called, YESFANS, about and for the band YES. After a few months, the site became all about politics and not the band. I couldn't understand why these people didn't just go to a political web site. I couldn't take it anymore, so I split. So far, DS has been pretty good to me.....I hope it stays that way. I really like it here.
