I say this sounds like good news - this is a great site and obviously it has been widely recognized as such and I tip my hat to u Mckenzie who has kept it going all this time when me and so many others jumped ship after so many yrs of good times and others of rough sailing-overall the knowledge and friends I made on this site have affected my entire life in a positive way

..... and as u say I respect anyone's opinion and especially if they are willing to say it out loud and for all the world to hear despite reprecussions as long as not hurtful or dangerous to others....

It would have been really good if "Doug" & gremlins had made an announcement to us bwfore this happened. asked a friend about it - seems that he owned shares in the Co. that bought up DS, - & he says it was months ago - & he sold them (& made a profit (which is nice!) I think the point of the purchase, serenity, is not to rid us of the trolls, but to slot us into a mega-pharma-profitmaking machine. I did not know who Dr. Oz was - but did some digging - he sells pills (in the past) of dubious healing ability: you can look him up on the net. He's certainly a qualified specialist, but I doubt that he has any time these days to do any operating. I sincerely hope that I am wrong, but I cannot see that he, and his co-profiteer, are going to do anything for us at all. We might get more advertisements for Big Pharma though. Sincerely, JaneD.

I hate change especially of a good thing. DS and my friends I have made here have become an important part of my day. I don't know how I would have made it the past couple of years without DS and all of you all. I just hope they do not go and try to change it. Jackie

I was in school, 8th grade, and the teacher was called out to the hallway and when she came back in her face looked white. I knew something bad happened, and then she turned the TV on and we watched what was going on. The whole school was saying that it was world war 3, and that we might be going home early. That never happened, but I will never forget it. It was on every channel for months, my father lost friends in the building. Very very sad...
