Miss everyone here

I am married, and we have one son and two dogs! I joined this group when I cared for my mom full-time who is a ten year stroke survivor. I cared for her full-time for nearly 5 years and have recently placed her in a small resident home for the summer. I am looking for replacement income so I don't have to take her back in the fall. It is much better for me and my family to have her placed at this time.

I have a small at home business that allows me the freedom to be at home. If you are interested contact me for free information at www.MomsWithTheAnswer.com. I love to work in my garden, ride my bike, write poetry and I just finished writing my second children's book. My family is very important to me and I spend as much time with them as I can.

I have my 84 year old mother living with me. She is a stroke survivor of 8 years and has been with me full-time for the past 2 1/2 years. Daily struggles for me are trying to communicate since mother has no speech and the physical demands of lifting and transferring her.
I am just looking for some information. I took my 84 year old mother to the dermatologist last week and they took 3 biopsy samples (one from each arm and one from behind the ear). I haven't gotten the results yet but got a call from the ear, nose and throat specialist that mother had been referred to them. I assume they have found something (possible melanoma??) and mother already said she doesn't want treatment. Any experience with this age that someone could share?
I care for my mother full-time and live in San Diego. My husband is working in AZ right now and we are trying to maintain two households. It was a stretch when we lived in one house, but this is about to break us.
