im 14 years old have 2 sisters and two dogs i love my friends and family and i love to write, shop, dance, sing and just have fun. i want to be a model and this is a very big disruption (trich).One thing i strongly believe is that you can never REALLY know what someones going through until you go through it yourself. so lets talk i would love to talk to people who have the same disorder and just anyone on here. (:

Close Trichotillomania (Hair Pulling)
Type: Trichotillomaniai started pulling my hair out when i was about 12. i see it all over the floor in my house and sometimes i cry at night. My dad was looking at some sites on this and found one site that said that skin picking is associated with it and he picks the skin on his fingers all the time so maybe i got it from him. I don't just pull out the hair like from the bottom i kind of go from the top like very close to the root and im very anxious and stressed by this and im hoping this can help me.
Treatments
- Prozac Not Working
- it made me very tired and i lost my appetite it didn't help at all if anything it made it worse i don't take it anymore
