I love being a mommy! I am a leader for MOPS(mothers of preschoolers) which is an amazing outreach for women. I also enjoy taking walks, hiking, camping anything outdoors. I love to scrapbook and am about to go to school for medical assisting.

I also have severe MG and little children. It sounds like we have had about the same type of health this last year, minus the baby. I am getting ready to schedule a thymectomy, also because of all of the IVIGs, the hospitalizations and none of it is controlled by the lengthy lists of meds that I'm on. Please know that you are not alone! Others have gone through it, are going through it, or well go through it, and your experience that you are receiving right now will help someone else some day! If there is a way that I can help by being a listening ear, you can count on me.

I am 21 years old and I was diagnosed last December with MG. I have since been in the hospital 2 times on a ventilator and recieved IVIG 3 times. I take Mestinon and Prednisone and just started Azathioprine. I am in the sceduling process of a thymectomy. This last year has been tough. I got married august 06 and that is when my symptoms started to get really bad. When I got diagnosed we were planning a thymectomy but I got pregnant in Feb. and just had my son two monthes early on October 19th.
Treatments
- Azathioprine Too Soon to Tell
- IVIG Working / Worked
- Love it wish it came in a pill
- Mestinon Somewhat Helpful
- Lasts about 4 hours
- Thymectomy Considering
