    Dear Lindamae
I`m happy to hear that your Doxil hasn`t caused many problems. Hopefully it won`t affect your CA125 numbers as drastically as it did with me.I didn`t realize that your grandson was living with you, I just thought it was an extended vacation, little ones are very exhausting.Next week I have my CT and the following week the ONC will discuss the results. My CA125 has been stable at 24 since the beginning of March, however last monthe it went up to 25, which didn`t concern me since I compare it to last year`s 7500. However, I`ve NEVER been off chemo and feel I need a break. My veins are shot, and I`m getting tired of the steroids that they now give me through an IV, since I won`t take them at home. I`ll keep you posted on all. Next week Anita is coming to visit. So now, I`ll have a 2nd DS sister that I`ve had a chance to meet. Maybe someday you`ll come back to your NJ roots, too. Stay strong and healthy. Lots of love!
    xxLinda

    Dear Lindamae
I deleted all journal information when I got an email from someone who was "looking for love"...Needless to say I got a bit unnerved and decided to delete all. However, I`m alive and well and always try to keep in touch with my "special friends" through hugs/messages. Today was a chemo day, that was only a 2 prick so at least I went home with my chemo, unlike a few weeks ago, when they denied me. The highlight of my day was when Linda Williams met me at MSKCC and we went out to lunch afterwards. I hope you`re doing well on Doxil and weathering it`s ill effects. Stay strong! Lots of love!
    xxLinda

So good to have you back here.. I have the doxil on Wednesday and it will also be my second treatment.. so we are running together here.. I am just so surprised at the lack of side effects I'm having.. apart from sleeping lots I wouldn't know I'd had anything.. really hoping this continues to be the case.. but am aware it probably won't be.. How is the house buying going??? Big hug for you.. xxxx

Glad you have been having a good time with the family.. just missed you here loads.. Doxil tomorrow eh.. I have mine next Wednesday.. Just be prepared to sleep lots for a couple of weeks. After such a busy time it will do you nothing but good anyway. I've been home since last Monday and slept just about all the time and feeling great for it. Huge hug to you and all the best tomorrow.. hope you get some great results too, though I know it can take a bit of time for that with this stuff. xxx

Hay-ho... Are you sleeping as much as I am at the moment and is that the reason you are not on here very much? Hope you are doing ok and thinking of you lots. Is Mac back and did he buy the house? Love and hugs to you xxx

Your hug brought an instant chuckle... I never thought I would hear myself saying this to someone going through chemo.. but in your special case I think that moving house seems to be an integral part of your therapy.. You and Mac will thrive on the challenge I am sure.. to find yourselves in the retirement home of your dreams.. I am very excited for you and for me coming to visit you.. xxx

Hi Lindamae, Thank you for the "thank-you" message. I also am truly inspired by you and the others on this site. It helps me to hear how you "matter-of-factly" you seem to be dealing with recurrence and chemo again - a great role model for someone like me who falls apart with any littel deviance in my CA 125. I am glad you had such a good time in Seattle. Isn't your daughter in Denver, I also have a married daughter there (with two kids). I'll be going there June 17 - 21. Love and hugs, Janet

Dear Lindamae I`m so happy to hear that you had a wonderful weekend and that the CA125 didn`t triple, as mine did during the Doxil. That`s a very good sign, which probably means you`ve found a drug that will work for you. This weekend was my 60th so we escaped for 3 days to see my son in Annapolis, MD. When we returned we found we had no landline or internet. So, I`ve been out of communication with the world for 72 hrs. Did you purchase your home in Punta Gorda(sp) yet, if so are you relocating or is that just a retreat for you? Stay happy and healthy. Lots of Love! xxLinda
