  Good morning Lindamae.. I am so happy for you and Mac and what a great feeling to be rid of chemo for a couple of months and soon be down in FLorida making a all new life for you. I know we will be seeing each other soon. Happy packing and still get your rest. Love and hugs! Beth

  Dear Lindamae
  Has the hospice nurse given you any time frame for your mom? My dad passed away,from melanoma, the week that my ovca pains began, I truly thought they were from the stress of his illness. His oncologist gave him 6 months and he passed 4 days after hospice began, go figure... I guess we never know what to expect no matter how much we prepare ourselves. Presently I`m exhausted from sleep deprivation, I`m beginning to think that it`s worse than chemo.However, you should look on the bright side knowing that you`ll be relocated in sunny Florida in another month or so :)

  I`m sending you some sunshine to wrm things up, it`s cold here and must be colder there... Presently I`m writing from MSKCC: took a 5AM bus, had bloodwork and am awaiting chemo. It`s going to be a long day, especially since they`re getting ready for the parade. How are your mouth sores and the packing going?

  Hi Lindamae, I hope your mouth sores are not keeping you from eating. I've bought the MET Rx from General Nutrition Centers (GNC) that Susan Wales's doctor recommended for her mother. I use a smoothie blender and mix them. They work as replacement meals. This way you can get nutrition without too much effort. I can't manage any more than half the package but at least they seem healthy. I've also used Boost quite a bit. How's the house coming? I look forward to hearing the news! Much love, Janet

  Good morning Lindamae. I am sorry I missed your chat. I was warm on the couch and didn't hear the chat pop ups. We are in Northport that is right close to Port Charlotte. It is really hard to tell where on starts and the other ends. I am so happy for you both and excited to see you. I have been to Punta Gorda and it is so beautiful there. It only takes 15 minutes to get there from where we are at. We are going down on the 24th for 8 days with Craig's youngest son and his wife. Big big hugs! Beth

  Dear Lindamae
  Thanks for your thoughts regarding my situation with my mother, anything is helpful...I`m sending you some chicken soup because you need to get well so you can enjoy your new home in Florida. I think it`s wonderful that you`ve lost the weight that you wanted to, however you can`t compromise your immune system while doing so. Possibly you should begin drinking something multi-calorie so you can get back your strength and fight off all germs and infections.I hope Mac returns home soon so he can help take care of you.   Dear Lindamae
  I hope your visit with your Mother goes better than my past few visits with mine have... At 93 my mother continues to find fault with me and bring me to tears each visit. My husband thinks I should stay away because he believes the visits hinder my health. However, she`s my mother so I guess I have to grin and bear it :( Happy weekend!
