Dear Lindamae I finally slept last night and presently feel like a different person. My sleep difficulties stem from the apprehension before chemo and the steroids they give me. My ONC has given me prescriptions for Ambien, which didn`t work, Xanax, which I didn`t fill and Lorazepam, which I didn`t fill. I try to take no meds. ,if possible, due to the havoc they cause with my sysytem. However, thanks for your input, as always...Hope youLots of love. xxLinda

...and sadness can lead to depression if the good old chemicals get out of whack! Loss and change and stress and all of those things that are "normal" in life to a degree, but if they multiply at the same time it can lead to depression. That's the hard part for people to understand I think sometimes. And of course "stress" can be good thing or so I was taught in the many hospital stays during the endless retraining how to think classes. We need it to survive - it's the fight or flight reaction in us. Me - I have been seen in flight for a long long time....the good news is that once in a while I am so tired that I can't flight and I just have to stand and fight it off because I don't want to be run over any more. Big difference between sad and depressed....I get tearful just even remembering tiny flashes of how bad it can really get and wishing that I never had to take so many meds so they could literally run my life for me as I was incapable of doing so rationally. I did the thorazine shuffle more than once and didn't know it was odd or unusual. Oh well....not there now and have no plans of ever going back to that state of mind...one flew over the cukoo's nest once too many times! UGH!!!! Will check the bird feeders to see if that bird does come back - Bruce is color blind so who knows! Hugs and have a cuddly night with your movies! Molly B.

Thanks for the directions! Hard to imagine that Bess is that age!! WOW - to think we were around same when we used to bowl together! Ha! Oh my how time flies. Well, here's hoping you have a good week and get to see more eagles. Hope there's one on the market down in FL with a pool - you HAVE to have it!! After having no say over when you got rained on, at least you'll have a say when you can get a good soaking! Bruce just made some BBQ chicken as it is almost 90 out today and this weekend! It's not the humidity, it's the heat!!! We missed the Maplefest locally this past weekend as that's way too hot for me! Hugs, Molly B.
