  Lindamae...go ahead and complain all you want! Gagging as a side effect is not something to "choke" about, and to be frank, it stinks to have that sensation and also not be able to eat as you'd like.
  
  I may be looking at Doxil very soon, and I dread more toxic chemicals in my body. I had bad side effects with taxol/carboplatin, and I've only been off chemo for about 2 months. I go to my doctor tomorrow to figure out my new chemo plan.
  
  I'm glad you said something about this weird unmentioned side effect of gagging. It's all the more reason I'm going to try to resist chemo if I can.
  
  What is your ovarian cancer story? What stage are you and are you having recurrence?
  
  I feel as if this is a never-ending nightmare. The fight with this cancer never finishes.

  I LOVE your new photo!!!! It's great!! What wonderful curls! Did you always sit on your leg, or did you do that because it took the photographer so long and by then you had to PEE? I know I did! Ha! Hugs and sunshine your way tomorrow! Molly B.

  Dear Lindamae
  I`m happy to hear that your daughter and grandson aren`t there permanently. It`s nice to have family around us, but it`s even nicer to sit back and take a deep breath ALONE. I identified with your journal, as I, too, have weekly anxiety related to visiting my mother. However, I try to grin and bear it, while she shows me her book "Don`t Sweat the Small Stuff", ufortunatley she is the cause of most of my small stuff.You seem to be constantly giving of yourself, try to remember that sometimes it has to be ALL ABOUT ME...Stay strong .

  Dear Linda - Hope that you will have some time to yourself tomorrow where you can soak in the tub, have a nice tall cool drink (or warm if so needed) and take a well deserved nap or go for a walk or whatever you want. In other words you are in need of some "ME" time and as you have told me, if they don't provide what you want for you, then you'll just have to give it to yourself! I can understand why you are on the down slide right now - lots of activities and happenings still. Today was my mother's birthday and I guess she would have been in her 90's - she doesn't have to be here for me to get a bit stressed even so. Hope you have a soothing and calmer tomorrow. I think all your friends here understand all too well that it's a good thing you wrote about whatever is happening with you. I know I appreciate that you trust me enough to share and offer my support when I can - it means a lot to me, no matter how many years have gone between us - of course getting a card each Christmas always left us feeling we were still connected anyway! It's humid here - guess you'll be getting lots of that soon! We don't usually get humidity here - it either rains or not but we get nice breezes being up higher than the flatlands of NJ!
