Have heard from my daughter - she spent 2 days w/no power in 100F heat because wonderful husband let it get cut off - GG! She called power co and they were understanding and turned it back on for her.
I can not convince her to go to a shelter It is driving me crazy. I finally sent her an email leting her know that state can arrest her and take son for child endangerment staying in a potentially violent situation. Maybe that will help her go. She doesn't want to be homeless! OMG
I am in much pain and very weak today - the doc did not leave a scrip dor me to go pick up, so I am in withdrawal now too. It just keeps getting better and better!

Oh man - hang in there - it's GOT to get better from here - for both you and your daughter. I so can relate to her not wanting to go - not knowing where you're going to sleep tonight is probably one of the scariest things anyone can do. You've done it so I know you understand that.
Good for you on the tough love - it's what she needs right now. Unfortunately she's an adult and you can't make her do anything - but you can certainly provide motivation for her to make the right decision on her own.
I'm thinking about you and sending every ounce of healing and light in your direction.
