I worked in the accounting and payroll dept.I am disabled because of my IC and bladder cancer. I have had IC for 7 years I am married w/4 kids the youngest is 13 It has gotten really bad the last 2 years and my dcotor says it will not get better. Recently I got cancer in the tube that connects the badder to the kidney and had my bladder removed I am still in pain but it saved my life, I have had three cancers and I just don't know what is next

Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
7 years with Ic and 5 with bladder cancer, Married w/4 kids the youngest is 13 last 2 years have been hell
Treatments
- Baking Soda Somewhat Helpful
- helped when there is alot of burning if I haven't drank enough
- Bladder Distention Not Working
- no relief painful only done twice so I am not sure if it should be done more consitently
- Bladder Instillation Considering
- I don't think I can hold it for the 30 min
- Elmiron Not Working
- took for over a year no help very expensive
- Pyridium Somewhat Helpful
- slower help for burning very messy
Close Bladder Cancer
51 with bladder cancer insu 2 for 6 years
Open High Blood Pressure
I have had high BP for 10 years recently got worse

- Atenolol Working / Worked
- Just doubled my dose doc thinks the sudden rise is stress related
Open Ovarian Cancer
I had ovaian cancer and had an operation in 1999 so so good

- Surgery Working / Worked
- complete removal of unterus and ovaries said they got it all
Open GERD & Heartburn
I have had acid reflex for at least 10 years

- doc started me at 4 per day to repair damage now I am down to two

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI have been depressed most of my adult life but it is worse now because of my IC

- did not like kept hearing buzzing in my head

- not taking anymore stopped helping
- Paxil Somewhat Helpful
- Not taking anymore stopped working
- Prozac Somewhat Helpful
- helped for awhile not taking anymore
- Zoloft Somewhat Helpful
- I really noticed a difference but bad sexual side effects back in 1994 doctor changed brand
- Celexa Too Soon to Tell
- taking for 4 weeks I dont really notice a difference
Open Tinnitus
