About Me
Original myeloma diagnosis 2/94, 5 rounds of VAD in spring of '95, two rounds of cytoxan in 9/95 and a pbsct in 12/95. Relapsed in 10/96, local radiation, relapsed again in 9/97. My onc told me that nothing more could be done. I then began antineoplaston therapy in 11/97 and have been in complete remission since. I founded the Galen Foundation in 4/'04, launched beating-myeloma.org shortly thereafter.

Close Multiple Myeloma
2/94 was original dx. 5 rounds of VAD, 2 of cytoxan, pbsct 12/95. Failed by 10/97. Began antineoplaston therapy 11/97- CR by 4/99- still in CR 11/07

Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
I am a survivor of mutiple myeloma since 2/94. I developed a blood clot due to chemo and now have a chronic blood clot.
Treatments
- Coumadin Working / Worked
- I underwent coumadin therapy for apporx. 2 years. The chronic clot did not resolve itself, I took myself off the therapy and now take nattokinese, vit E, fish oil, enzymes instead.
