Well to start, this has not been a good year for me health wise, I had a really hard battle with my crohns but I made it, I'm still here: I have gained some weight that the doctors said that I wouldn't, I was at 82 pounds! I weigh about 108 now, wish I could snag another pound or two, I will! I had three hospital stays this year ,so hoping for none this coming year. I had written in one of my journals about my friend that I was so worried about, she passed away a couple of months ago, thats a long story.... We lost one of our DS members in the crohns group, Emma, she was so sweet and funny and the sad part she was only 26 years old, I miss her so much and feel so much for the three little ones she left behind, she talked about them all the time...so much love she had for them, I pray they are getting very much needed attention. Well my joints are killing me at the moment so I will write more later, I hope everyone has a beautiful Christmas and please all remember to say (MERRY CHRISTMAS) instead of happy holidays! If you offend anyone then they need to go back where they came from! I don't mean to sound rude or anything I'm just tired of the way people are these days. hugs to all, Marcie

Merry Christmas & a really hoping u have a 'crohns free 09'... I can relate to the hospital stays & its no fun but hopefully 2009 will be better. All we can do is stay positive. Lots of love your friend Jess xxx.

Yup I feel for you about the changes from stinking freaking Hollidays ,if they say it to me I always say MERRY CHRISTMAS!Is the joint pain comming from the meds you taking? I know my joint just hurts when I get up,I walk like a 90 year old woman,and I remember Emma how special she was...hugs Birgit
