      Hi Jacki,
Yes I do have two sons and you are right. One is in
Denver and the other one is here.I won't see the
one in Denver for Christmas. They just bought a house
this summer and can't afford to come home.
The lady that had the same surgery as Marv had hers done
the first around the 5th of Nov.She is still uncomfortable but is gradually getting better. She has to
have the other shoulder done too.
The valium really helped me this time.I am going to
talk to my DR about getting a script for a low dosage
that I can take 3 times a day.Hopefully she will agree.
So you are already decorating for Christmas.Send some
of that Christmas spirit my way.I am sorry you are having spasms in the bladder. What do you take for
spasms?I know you are probably a little stressed with
Marv not feeling well.I have been doing fairly well with
my bladder. My little devil is still with the levator.
I am hoping it goes away someday like yours did.
Hang in there with Marv.I feel for him.It can only
      get better.
      Hugs,
      Lynn

      Hi Jacki,
We are lucky today. We have sunshine with temps in
high 40's.Not bad.It is always so nice to see the
sun.My oldest son called yesterday and told me his
girlfriend has to work on Thanksgiving,so the two of
us are getting together, maybe catch a movie. We can
just sit and chat for hours.I really love that about him.So I will have a nice Thanksgiving with him.
I hope Marv is feeling better by Thanksgiving. One of
my husbands co-workers wife just had the same thing done
and she is having a terrible time with the pain.I hope that is not the case for Marv.
8 sounds like the perfect number for a nice Thanksgiving
celebration.I am wishing you a low pain level day on
      T-day so you can enjoy!!!
      Hugs,
      Lynn

      Hello Jacki,
I am sorry to read that you are uncomfortable today.
I know what that stress can do to us.
Now that Marv's surgery is over,I hope things calm
down for you.I was a mess the week before I took my
trip.I even called my gyn/uro and asked for something
to calm my nerves.Bless her,she gave me some valium and
that did the trick,I was able to maintain and be of some
      help for my step-daughter.
I am glad to read that the surgery is over for your husband and I wish him a speedy recovery.
It will be a very quiet Thanksgiving for us this year.
My husband works in a Nuclear Power Plant and they are
in what you call an"outage".I won't go into boring details but they have been working 24/7 since the first
of Nov.and will continue until the 10th of Dec.My husband works from 5pm till 6am.So all he does is work,
eat and sleep.I am okay with it.I am not a great lover
of cooking a big Turkey dinner.Have done it for over
30years and am a bit tired of it.How about you? What will
you do Thanksgiving day?I bet you get together with
family which is what it is all about.
      Wishing you better days.

      Hi Jacki,
Just a quick note to say hello.I am back from my
visit in Virginia Beach. It was quite a week with
hurricane -like weather. We lost power for 16hrs.
I am very glad to be home.
How are you doing these days?
Has your husband had his surgery yet?If he has I am
sure you are very busy taking care of him.
Let me know how you and Marv are when you get a chance.
      Hugs

    • Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)

Woke up June 1 2006 with what I thought was a UTI.Went to my GYN and had no blood or infection. The pressure was unreal!!! They sent me to a Urologist who gave me over- active bladder meds and sent me to Pelvic floor PT. The PT did help some. Most all the meds made me sick and didn't work. I had food senitivity testing done through Immuno Labs and that did help to figure out foods that were bothering me. .

      Treatments

      Baking Soda Somewhat Helpful
Take baking soda when I have burning.
      Enablex Not Working
Didn't help very much. Made my vision very blurry and had a bad sore throat for two months on this medicine.
    • Close Fibromyalgia

After a surgery in 1993 I never recovered. After about a year a Doctor finally siad I has Fibromyalgia. What a nightmare it has been. I developed TMJ in 1999 and then IC in 2006. It has been so hard dealing with the pain.

      Treatments

      Acupressure Somewhat Helpful
It helped the TMJ the most. Was to expensive to go all the time.
      Duragesic Patch Somewhat Helpful
Haven't used the patch for three years. It did help but also made my feel very light headed and I became allergic to the glue on the patch
      Heat Working / Worked
Don't knoe what I would do without my heating pads!
      TENS Working / Worked
Have a unit at home works great for my TMJ and neck
      Vitamin B12 Somewhat Helpful
Did these injections about seven years ago it did help with the fatigue
