                     ......GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST.....

So Holy week has started, and for myself has great meaning. This is the most precious time of the year, as God's son Jesus Christ gave his life to save the world.

This Saturday night I get Baptised, as an Adult catholic / christian.

So I am very excited. I allowed the Lord into my open heart only 6moths ago. Before that I always believed in him, but never did anything. I never prayed, I never shared my faith etc.

Jesus is the soul purpose of us all being here today as human beings.

I know there are many out there who do not believe in God. Until you have opened urself up to Him, then you wouldnt really have any understanding to how I feel.

Heavenly Father, I am called to walk by the light of christ, your Son,

abd to trust in his wisdom. During Lent, I submit my self to him more and more

and am striving to believe in him with all my heart.

I enter on this path of repentance so that in dying to self I might rise to new life.

Lord Jesus, you spoke peace to a sinful world and brought mankind the gift of

reconciliation by the suffering and the dead you endured.

I love you and joyfully bear the name 'Christian'.

Teach me to follow your example.

Increase my faith, hope and charity so that I may struggle to turn hatred to love and

conflict to peace.

Forgive my sins against the unity of your family, make me love as you loved me.

Renew my eagerness to work with you in building a better world,

so that my friends may hear your Gospel of peace and justice.
