thanks so much for the tip. my boyfriend and i made a contribution to ''alley cat allies'' -- a welfare organization devoted to helping cats -- in the name of her deceased kitty. we also found a very sweet little cast iron statue of a cat with wings (angel!) so she can place at her kitty's burial site (it's on her property).

Thanks so much dear friend. So you know the control freak issue. It's sad - They have a spare room. I would be with my family, which would give me such comfort but it's up to HIM and it aint gonna happen. He changed my flight to save FIVE DOLLARS. He is nuts but my sister is financially dependent on him. But it will be wonderful to be there. Love you, Nancy

I started hearing ringing in my ears about 4 years ago. It's not loud, but it's always there if I listen. So, most of the time I ignore it.
Close Menopause
Well my doc says it's OVER! 3 years period-free! A hot flash here and a sweat there. Minimal mood swings.... this can't be true, can it? I'm sure that there's more to come! Love hot flashes in winter!

My mom has PD, diagnosed a few years ago. It's luckily not progressing fast, but it is progressing. I want to join this community to be informed and more aware of PD.

Open Caring For Aging Parents
My mom and dad are still together after 55+ years. Mom has PD and Dad has survived throat, lung cancer and is monitoring bladder cancer. They still live on their own but my brother hubbie and I are concerned about them.
Open Pet Bereavement
Our Spinner passed on Friday, August 14th. He gave us joy, laughter and love and we loved him back for 18 wonderful years. You were a great friend and buddy. xo
